"Beatrix Kiddo," also known as "The Bride," is the main character in the 2003 film "Kill Bill: Volume 1," played by Uma Thurman. She is a former member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad (DiVAS), a group of highly skilled assassins led by Bill (played by David Carradine).

At the start of the film, Beatrix is revealed to be pregnant and preparing to leave the group to start a new life with her fiancé. However, during her wedding rehearsal, she and her entire wedding party are attacked by the DiVAS, led by Bill, who shoots her in the head, putting her into a coma for four years.

Upon awakening, Beatrix is determined to seek revenge against those who tried to kill her and her unborn child, leading her on a violent and bloody quest for vengeance. Along the way, she confronts each of her former comrades, including O-Ren Ishii, Vernita Green, Budd, and ultimately Bill himself.

Throughout the film, Beatrix is shown to be a highly skilled fighter, with expertise in martial arts and the use of a samurai sword. She is also portrayed as a determined and fierce character, willing to do whatever it takes to achieve her goal of revenge.
