Cheryl Ladd is an American actress, singer, and author. She is best known for her role as Kris Munroe in the television series "Charlie's Angels," which she joined in the second season in 1977.
Ladd began her career as a singer, performing with various bands and as a backup singer for artists such as Mel Tormé and the Righteous Brothers.
